UIC and SNCF are pleased to announce that the 19th UIC World Security Congress will be held at UIC HQ in Paris, France, from 2 to 4 December 2024 on the theme “Railway security: between everyday journeys and major event challenges”.

Rail security experts from all over the world will gather to discuss how to make railways more secure and resilient to everyday threats and risks. The congress will also provide an opportunity to share the lessons learnt from this year’s Olympic games in France.

The event is open to UIC members, including railway security experts, railway company representatives and infrastructure managers, and relevant external parties, such as representatives from authorities, practitioners, trainers, researchers or academic institutions.
