The UIC and China State Railway Group (CR) invite participants to take advantage of these last few days to benefit from the Early Bird rates for the 12th UIC World Congress on High-Speed Rail, which will end on 30 April.
This prestigious event will take place from 8 – 11 July 2025 in Beijing, China, under the inspiring theme “Innovation and Development for a Better Life” and will bring together over 2000 participants from 30 countries, with key players in high-speed rail from across the globe.
This year’s programme will be organised around three main blocks: plenary sessions, round tables, and parallel sessions, where participants may have in-depth discussion and exchanges on the latest technologies and achievements of high-speed rail planning, construction, technology & equipment, operation management and safety.
The congress will feature a tour of high-speed rail innovation in which participants can experience the performance of the Fuxing EMU train on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail line, the world’s first intelligent railway, and gain first-hand experience of the cutting-edge technological advancements of China’s high-speed rail industry.
In addition, the 17th edition of “Modern Railways”, the largest railway exhibition in Asia, will be held in parallel to the congress. Focusing on key trends, developments and cutting-edge technologies and equipment in the railway industry, the exhibition will facilitate potential exchanges and collaborations within the global railway community.
