As we commemorate 200 years of modern railways, we are proud to announce the launch of the 13th International Brunel Awards—a prestigious global competition celebrating excellence in railway design and infrastructure.
Established by the Watford Group and organised in partnership with the International Union of Railways (UIC), and this year hosted by Network Rail, the Brunel Awards honour projects that elevate the quality, functionality, and sustainability of the rail sector worldwide.
From visionary stations and innovative rolling stock to transformative infrastructure and design systems—this is your opportunity to be recognised on the international stage.
Categories:
1. Stations – From small stops to major hubs, including access structures, renovations, and urban realm enhancements
2. Industrial Product & Graphic Design – Furniture, signage, uniforms, branding, smart systems, and visual identity
3. Technical Infrastructure & Environment – Bridges, tunnels, freight infrastructure, and environmental/heritage integration
4. Rolling Stock – All types of passenger and freight trains, new or renovated
