Mihai Frăsinoi was appointed as Managing Director of CFR Marfă by the company’s management board on 1 March.

Mr Frăsinoi is a railway engineer with over 30 years of professional experience in the railway sector. This is his second appointment to the position of Managing Director of CFR Marfă, having also held the role from 2009 to 2010.

Mr Frăsinoi has also held various management positions in the Romanian railway system, e.g. at CFR Marfă S.A., at private railway undertaking UNICOM Tranzit, and at the Romanian Railway Authority (AFER).

UIC expresses its warmest congratulations to Mr Frăsinoi on his appointment and conveys its very best wishes.
