On 11 June 2024, the 10th General Assembly of the Agreement on freight Train Transfer Inspections (ATTI) Special Group will be held at the UIC Headquarters in Paris from 09:00 to 15:00. The group aims to facilitate seamless cross-border quality controls, boosting efficiency in freight transport.
This year’s General Assembly will commemorate ATTI’s decade-long journey. Members of ATTI are therefore warmly invited to join in celebrating this milestone at an evening event from 18:00 to 21:00 on 10 June, which will be hosted on UIC’s rooftop terrace.
The daytime programme for the ATTI GA includes:
- Registration and a coffee reception
- Introduction, overview of the agenda, and general information sharing
- Keynote address by the European Union Agency for Railways (ERA)
- Review of the minutes from the previous GA held on 13/06/2023
- Presentation acknowledging new and departing ATTI Railway Undertakings (RUs)
- Discussions and voting on the ATTI 1st Proposal - Strategy Development
- Further development of the ATTI 2nd Proposal: Appendix 2 Quality Guidelines
- Elections for the new ATTI Special Group Chair and the ATTI RUs to the Executive Committee
- Financial matters: final accounts for 2023, provisional budget for 2024, and forecast for 2025
- Quality enhancement initiatives, including further development of the database
- Information sharing: showcasing learning videos and LinkedIn
- Requests for topics and setting the date for the next ATTI GA, scheduled for 03/06/2025
Additionally, an Extraordinary ATTI GA will be convened to address the previous GA’s 6th Proposal, focusing on adapting 8.5 of the Internal Regulations.
