On 29 February 2024, from 9:00 to 11:00 CET, UIC is delighted to host an online webinar on “The impact of trends on rail capabilities (Trend Map 2024)”. During this webinar, Natalia Hatalska, CEO of infuture.institute, will discuss the major tendencies from the latest Trends Map 2024 and will explore their potential impact on the future and on the development of railways.

The session will also serve to introduce the planned 2024 analysis of the impact of trends on the capabilities of railways in regions such as Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. The analysis will consist of a study conducted by infuture.institute in collaboration with representatives from the International Union of Railways (UIC) and experts invited by UIC. Subsequently, a document will be published, examining previously unexplored trends, and the opportunities which these represent for the planning and capabilities of railways in the future. At the end of the presentation, there will be a Q&A session for participants to directly engage with the speaker.
