UIC has the pleasure of inviting you to the 3rd edition of TRESPAD on 5 June and the 16th edition of ILCAD on 6 June 2024 in Buenos Aires. This will be followed by technical and social visits on 7 June from the Argentinian Transport Safety Board (JST).
The exact location is still to be confirmed, but it will be held in close proximity to the JST building: Florida 361, C1005 AAG, Cdad. Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The following events will launch the UIC global rail safety campaigns:
• 16th edition of ILCAD, the International Level Crossing Awareness Day
• 3rd edition of TRESPAD, the International Trespass Awareness Day
The target public in 2024 are “vulnerable users” with the slogan:
"Beware of trains, life can change in a split second”

The ILCAD conference will tackle level crossing safety issues, while experts at the TRESPAD conference will share their knowledge and best practice methods on rail trespassing issues specifically concerning trespassers and on suicide prevention.

We are thrilled to be able to welcome delegates and high-level speakers to our upcoming events. As for the previous editions, 150 to 180 participants and speakers from around the globe are expected to participate in the three day event. Sponsors hailing from Europe and South America will share their technical solutions to prevent accidents at level crossings and on railway tracks.
The conferences will be in-person events, both in English and Spanish.
