Scope
Crisis Management is one of the core issues of the security organization and will be one main topic of the UIC Security Division in 2018. We are delighted to invite you to the Workshop on crisis communication and social media.
The main focus of the workshop will be the use of different communication channels and best practices for the internal and external communication during crisis situations. Another focus will be the use of social media and the related problems (e.g. false information).
The workshop aims to facilitate exchanges of knowledge and best practices between UIC members (e.g. railway undertakings, rail infrastructure managers), other critical infrastructure operators, first responders and blue light organizations, as well as researchers, journalists and communication experts.
Participation is free of charge but the number of places is limited. Registration is therefore made on a “first come first served” basis. The presentations and discussions will be in English.
