Railway Talents


The Rail Talent Working Group partners with rail entities, training centres, universities and educational institutions in a global effort to provide a one-stop portal to education, training and learning resources for all rail stakeholders.

UIC Coordinator: Yuke LI

Meetings:
3 regular working meetings per year (at least 1 in presence)
Regular actions in between depending on the workload.

Objectives

The Railway Talents working group holds three meetings per year and works actively on the TrainRail Hackathon and other Talent events to:

  • Maintain and feed a permanent channel of communication between young talents and UIC members;
  • Create a friendly environment for talents in the rail industry and increase the attractiveness of jobs and careers;
  • Help UIC members increase branding and reputation regarding young talents; Create international mentoring and coaching initiatives for people who want to join railways and young talents already in railways;
  • Produce guidelines.
